NFL Draft Preparation Program

The Ikei Approach

A comprehensive evaluation is performed on each athlete, assessing functional strength, muscle imbalance, physical limitations, body composition and athletic performance. Once the strengths and limiting factors of each individual athlete are identified a comprehensive training program is prescribed addressing the strength, power, and speed aspects of the athlete's sport, position and limiting factors as well as the mobility, flexibility and nutritional components of athletic performance.

The National Football League (NFL) has implemented the NFL Combine and All-Star Games as a final recruiting tool for team selections. This is an opportunity for the athlete to prove to team owners, general managers, player personnel and coaches how physically and mentally prepared he is to play in the NFL. A player’s stock can drastically rise or fall as a result of the NFL Combine and All-Star Game. IKEI Performance understands that moving up or down early in the draft can gain or cost an athlete millions of dollars. With that at stake, athletes realize the importance of preparing for the NFL Combine. It is the biggest test of their lives and a one time, 3-day interview for a job in the NFL. One-tenths of a second slower in the 40-yard dash, a lack in physical strength or poor composure during the NFL Combine interview can make the difference between being drafted in the first round or the third round, equating to a loss of millions of dollars in contract value.

The Program

The IKEI Performance NFL Draft Preparation Program is LIMITED to 10 players each year. The individualized attention and quality training each player receives is second to none. This exclusive training program maximizes performance and ensures safety as well as builds confidence of each player going into the big day.

This intensive training program replicates exactly all the tests and position-specific drills each athlete will face during the combine and individual team workouts, while maximizing the athlete’s playing potential to perform at a superior level during the All-Star Games. The goal for each athlete is to master all the tests of the combine and make a lasting impression with NFL team affiliates.
