Evaluation: A comprehensive evaluation is performed on each individual, assessing functional strength, muscle imbalance, physical limitations, body composition, flexibility and functional performance. A thorough Postural Assessment will be performed by our team doctor to establish any limiting factors that may impede progress from performing specific exercises. Our Wellness Performance Evaluation is also performed with our team doctor addressing any health concerns as well as nutritional requirements and potential blood chemistry imbalances and/or food allergies that may cause sub-optimal performance.
Individualized: For Ikei Performance athletes, once the strengths and limiting factors of each athlete are identified a comprehensive training program is prescribed addressing the strength, power, and speed aspects of the athlete's sport and position; as well as the mobility, flexibility and nutritional components to maximize athletic performance. A specialized nutritional guideline is then developed for each athlete to follow along with a strict supplemental program to aid in maximal recovery, health and performance. Ikei Performance Personal Training clients will have their program tailor made according to their fitness & postural assessment findings as well as their specified health goals.
